Posted: 5:35 PM- After joking on his way into EnergySolutions Arena that he officially would be a "game time" decision, Deron Williams said he would play in Saturday night's game against New Jersey.
Williams had put his odds at 50-50 of playing after the Jazz's victory Friday over Sacramento. He had been hesitant about playing in back-to-back games so soon after returning from a sprained left ankle that kept him out of 13 games. Although he is still battling pain and soreness in the ankle, Williams has totaled 30 assists in his first two games back. He will be matched up against Nets guard Devin Harris, who also has battled a sprained left ankle this month.
