Utah Jazz Roster Report 2009-03-12
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Deron Williams, Shooting guard Ronnie Brewer, Small forward C.J. Miles, Power forward Carlos Boozer, Center Mehmet Okur. Bench -- Guard Kyle Korver, Forward Matt Harpring, Forward Andrei Kirilenko, Forward Paul Millsap, Guard Brevin Knight.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Deron Williams played 41 minutes in the second game of a back-to-back set, with the second half underscoring his importance to the Jazz. Williams came back on less than two minutes rest, with more than 11 minutes still to play in the fourth quarter. He finished with 20 points and nine assists, including a spectacular play in which he faked a behind-the-back pass, kept his dribble and then hit Paul Millsap on the break for a dunk.

--F Carlos Boozer had 13 points and eight rebounds in 32 minutes but also committed four turnovers. Boozer was called for an offensive foul with 1:28 remaining after flooring Mike Bibby on a screen. Both Boozer and Jazz coach Jerry Sloan argued that Bibby flopped on the play.

--G Ronnie Brewer suffered a lacerated lip when he was hit in the face on a buzzer-beating drive to close the third quarter. Brewer came back in the fourth quarter and finished with 14 points on 5-for-12 shooting in 36 minutes.

--F Matt Harpring continues to see his minutes squeezed. Harpring played only four minutes in Wednesday's game and did not get off the bench in the second half for the second consecutive game.
