ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Deron Williams, Shooting guard Wesley Matthews, Small forward Ronnie Brewer, Power forward Carlos Boozer, Center Mehmet Okur. Bench -- Forward Paul Millsap, Guard Ronnie Price, Forward Andrei Kirilenko, Center Kyrylo Fesenko PLAYER NOTES: --G Deron Williams acknowledged that he was frustrated Monday when he was called for a foul 51 seconds into the game and went 0-for-5 in the first quarter. Williams recovered, though, to finish with 17 points and 11 assists as the Jazz beat the Spurs.
--G Ronnie Brewer had his first double-double of the season, totaling 17 points and 10 rebounds in 43 minutes.
--G C.J. Miles had been 0-for-4 from three-point range since returning from left thumb surgery before hitting two three-pointers in the Jazz's victory over the Spurs. Miles had 10 points in 19 minutes off the bench.
--C Kyrylo Fesenko has not played in the Jazz's last three games after scoring a season-high 11 points in a Nov. 30 victory over Memphis.
--F Matt Harpring won't play this season but will help call three games -- two on television and one on radio -- this week in Utah with the Jazz's broadcasters.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F Andrei Kirilenko (strained lower back) missed Monday's game after a recurrence of tightness in his back. It was the second consecutive game and third of the last four that Kirilenko has missed with back issues. He was optimistic about playing at the morning shootaround but said his jumper didn't feel right during pregame warmups.
--G Kyle Korver (left knee surgery) is still probably several games away from returning. Korver said he is still bothered by pain in his knee when he tries to lead with his left foot, especially turning quickly and shooting. The Jazz have little practice time this week as well, playing four games in six days.
--G Ronnie Price (sprained left big toe) has missed 13 consecutive games with his injured toe, but the Jazz have ruled out surgery for him. Price has started running again and is doing court work, though not at full speed or with contact. He estimated he was 75 percent of the way to returning.
--F Matt Harpring (ankle, knee problems) remains on the Jazz's roster but won't play this season. Harpring continues to deal with the effects of a devastating infection that followed ankle surgery in 2008 as well as the effects of multiple knee surgeries throughout his career.
