ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Deron Williams, Shooting guard Wesley Matthews, Small forward Ronnie Brewer, Power forward Carlos Boozer, Center Mehmet Okur. Bench -- Forward Paul Millsap, Guard Ronnie Price, Forward Andrei Kirilenko, Center Kyrylo Fesenko. PLAYER NOTES: --F Carlos Boozer needed a basket in the final seconds, but he extended his streak of 20-point scoring games to seven. Boozer finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds in the Jazz's loss to Minnesota.
--C Mehmet Okur went 1-for-6 on 3-pointers against the Wolves, contributing to a 2-for-16 effort from long range by the Jazz. Okur still had 16 points and eight rebounds in 38 minutes.
--G C.J. Miles was happier with his second game back from left thumb surgery than his first. Miles went 3-for-5 in the first half against Minnesota before a scoreless, 0-for-5 second half. Miles said he put less pressure on himself Saturday than he did the night before in his return, when he was determined to make a strong impression on the home fans.
--F Paul Millsap had 14 points and six rebounds against the Wolves while making seven of eight shots. However, he played just 21 minutes total, including only 3:37 in the fourth quarter.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F Andrei Kirilenko (strained lower back) missed Saturday's game after a recurrence of tightness in his back. Kirilenko played 14 minutes in Friday's victory over Indiana but was uncertain of his availability with the Jazz set to play four games in six days this week.
--G Kyle Korver (left knee surgery) was able to strengthen his leg muscles enough during a week of rehab at a training center in Santa Barbara, Calif., that he should be close to making his return. Korver officially was a game-time decision to play in both the Jazz's games this weekend but sat out both.
--G Ronnie Price (sprained left big toe) has missed 12 consecutive games, but the Jazz have ruled out surgery for him. Price has started jogging again, but he said he still experiences pain just walking and pushing off his foot. He recently estimated that he was 50 percent of the way back from the injury he suffered Nov. 9.
--F Matt Harpring (ankle, knee problems) remains on the Jazz's roster but won't play this season. Harpring continues to deal with the effects of a devastating infection that followed ankle surgery in 2008 as well as the effects of multiple knee surgeries throughout his career.
