Utah Jazz Roster Report 2009-11-20

Utah Jazz Roster Report 2009-11-20ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Deron Williams, Shooting guard Wesley Matthews, Small forward Ronnie Brewer, Power forward Carlos Boozer, Center Mehmet Okur. Bench -- Forward Paul Millsap, Guard Ronnie Price, Forward Andrei Kirilenko, Center Kyrylo Fesenko.

--G Deron Williams has launched an All-Star voting campaign at designed to encourage fans to vote daily both online and through text messages. Williams has acknowledged the struggles of playing for a small-market team as far as getting All-Star recognition.

--C Kyrylo Fesenko made his second consecutive start in Mehmet Okur's absence and went scoreless with four fouls and a rebound in 11 minutes. The Jazz is 3-0 in the games Fesenko has started.

--G Ronnie Brewer played all but 26 seconds in the fourth quarter one night after Jazz coach Jerry Sloan used rookie Eric Maynor ahead of Brewer. Maynor was scoreless against the Spurs and Brewer had 13 points.

--C Mehmet Okur missed Thursday's game with flu-like symptoms. He was reported to be starting to feel better. Okur is not believed to be suffering from the H1N1 virus.

--G C.J. Miles (thumb surgery) hopes to resume playing in the next two weeks after suffering a ruptured ligament in his thumb during the preseason.

--G Kyle Korver (knee surgery) is projected to return ahead of schedule after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to remove a bone spur in the preseason. Korver returned from a week at a California training center and expressed a belief that he could be back playing within the next two weeks.

--G Ronnie Price (sprained left big toe) has missed five consecutive games with his injured toe but the Jazz has ruled out surgery for him. Price will continue to rehab in the hopes of returning in a couple of weeks. He would have missed 4-to-6 weeks with surgery.

--F Matt Harpring (ankle, knee problems) remains on the Jazz's roster but is unlikely to play again. Harpring continues to deal with the effects of a devastating infection that followed ankle surgery in 2008 as well as the effects of multiple knee surgeries throughout his career. Harpring did not join the Jazz for training camp or the preseason, remaining at home with his family in Atlanta.
