ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Deron Williams, Shooting guard Ronnie Brewer, Small forward Andrei Kirilenko, Power forward Carlos Boozer, Center Mehmet Okur. Bench -- Forward Paul Millsap, Guard Ronnie Price, Guard Wesley Matthews, Center Kyrylo Fesenko, Center Kosta Koufos. PLAYER NOTES: --F Paul Millsap bounced back after a disappointing game in New York to finish with nine points and 13 rebounds against the Celtics. He was the Jazz's leading rebounder; Deron Williams surprisingly was second with seven.
--C Kosta Koufos saw his most extensive action in several games and had six points and four rebounds in six minutes. Koufos, however, did not play until the Celtics were up by 20 in the fourth quarter.
--G Wesley Matthews went 0-for-3 from three-point range on a night the Jazz missed all 10 three-pointers they attempted as a team.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G C.J. Miles (thumb surgery) had the cast from his left hand removed Monday in New York but is at least two weeks away from resuming practice. Miles said doctors were optimistic that he'd be back playing by the time the Jazz return to the New York area for a Dec. 16 game at New Jersey. He suffered a ruptured ligament in his thumb during the preseason.
--G Kyle Korver (knee surgery) is expected to miss six weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery Oct. 28 in New York to remove a bone spur from his left knee. The Jazz have yet to set an official timetable with respect to Korver, who was cleared to increase his activity level Monday. Korver headed to Santa Barbara, Calif., for a week of work at a center with which the Jazz have a relationship.
--G Ronnie Price (sprained left big toe) had to leave Monday's game in the second quarter after feeling a pop on the underside of his foot after coming up with a steal. Price did not play Wednesday against the Celtics and is uncertain to play on the rest of the Jazz's four-game trip after reporting little improvement the last two days.
--F Matt Harpring (ankle, knee problems) remains on the Jazz's roster but is unlikely to play again. Harpring continues to deal with the effects of a devastating infection that followed ankle surgery in 2008 as well as the effects of multiple knee surgeries throughout his career. Harpring did not join the Jazz for training camp or the preseason, remaining at home with his family in Atlanta.
