Utah Jazz Roster Report 2008-04-09
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Deron Williams, Shooting guard Ronnie Brewer, Small forward Andrei Kirilenko, Power forward Carlos Boozer, Center Mehmet Okur. Bench -- Point guard Ronnie Price, Shooting guard Kyle Korver, Small forward Matt Harpring, Power forward Paul Millsap, Center Jarron Collins.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Paul Millsap had 10 points and seven rebounds and helped spark the Jazz in the second half. He was asked afterward if returning to his native Louisiana had a positive effect on his play. "Yeah, you know, humidity, all that," Millsap said.

--G Deron Williams went 3-1 head-to-head against Chris Paul this season, with both players going 2-for-11 Tuesday. Williams did have 16 assists to Paul's nine; the Hornets made their fourth-quarter comeback while Paul was on the bench.

--G Kyle Korver had one of his toughest games since coming to the Jazz, finishing 1-for-7 and 1-for-6 from three-point range. The Jazz had hit 37 three-pointers their previous three games but went 4 of 19 Tuesday.

--G Ronnie Brewer had four points and played 17 minutes in his return after missing three games with a strained groin. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said he thought Brewer looked tentative and subbed him three to four minutes early in the first and third quarters.

--G Morris Almond was assigned Tuesday to the NBA Development League's Utah Flash for the third and final time this season. Almond will finish out the Flash's season, which runs through Saturday, before rejoining the Jazz for the playoffs.
