PLAYER NOTES: --C Jarron Collins started in place of Mehmet Okur (stomach virus) but was unable to have the impact he did in Friday's victory over the L.A. Clippers. Collins finished with five points and five rebounds in 23 minutes.
--F Paul Millsap carried the Jazz in the fourth quarter, scoring 12 of his 15 points. The Jazz were able to close within three points three times, however, but couldn't get over the hump.
--G Kyle Korver missed two three-pointers with the Jazz down by six in the fourth quarter. Korver hit his first two shots of the game, but finished with four points on 2-of-6 shooting.
--C Kyrylo Fesenko checked in for the final 37.1 seconds of the third quarter one day after he was recalled from the NBA Development League's Utah Flash. Fesenko missed two free throws and fouled Craig Smith above the shoulders.
--G Ronnie Brewer finished with 20 points against the Timberwolves, one shy of his career high, but suffered a groin injury in the third quarter.
