Utah Jazz Roster Report 2008-11-15
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Ronnie Price, Shooting guard Ronnie Brewer, Small forward C.J. Miles, Power forward Carlos Boozer, Center Kosta Koufos. Bench -- Guard Brevin Knight, Forward Paul Millsap, Forward Matt Harpring, Forward Kyle Korver.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Ronnie Brewer has been one of the most improved Jazz players this season, but he was only 4-for-16 from the field against Charlotte, including 1-for-6 in the fourth quarter.

--In his second game since returning to action after recovering from ankle surgery and ensuing infection, F Matt Harpring had four points and two rebounds in 14 minutes.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Deron Williams (sprained right ankle) is extremely doubtful for Saturday night against Cleveland. Williams missed the Jazz's first six games and returned to play a combined 64 minutes against Philadelphia and Washington. He had seven points and nine assists in a 93-80 win over the 76ers and eight points and seven assists in a 95-87 loss to the Wizards. But he made only four of 15 shots and obviously hasn't been 100 percent.

Before the Jazz-Bobcats game, Williams said, "It feels fine. I'm just not ready. It's not worse than it was. It doesn't hurt. I'm just not ready. I wasn't ready to play."

--F Andrei Kirilenko (sprained right index finger) is extremely doubtful for Saturday night against Cleveland. Kirilenko was injured in the fourth quarter against the Wizards. He was trying to grad a rebound when the ball came down directly on the top of his finger. He quickly went to the bench, had his hand wrapped in ice and did not return.

"I'm feeling great," Kirilenko said Friday, "but my finger is tender. Right now I can't really catch the ball or pass the ball." Initially, Kirilenko was worried his finger might be broken, but x-rays were negative. He averages 14 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

--C Mehmet Okur won't play against Cleveland. He is tending to his critically-ill father in Turkey. A timetable for his return has not been established.
