Utah Jazz: Readers sound off on the return of Boozer
The Page 2 staff is watching you ... assuming you comment on our stories.

So there we were earlier this week, when it was announced crowd favorite Carlos Boozer was coming back to the Jazz . A smattering of our favorite comments:

?

"For $12 million, you think he could mix in a little bit of defense? Since he only plays half the floor, how about paying him $6 mil instead?"

-- golfandjazz

?

"Well ... Is it possible to be disappointed in retaining a player? Okur is a decent player. But Boozer? Doggone it!! Why couldn't someone have taken him off our hands?"

-- BYUnJAZZinSeattle

?

"Boozer. Boozer. Boozer. You say you'll stay with Cleveland. Ended up with Jazz . Said you'll opt out. Never fulfill those words. What's next? More lies. I have a feeling. More lies. Is the answer. Wow."

-- aubbers

?

"Boozer and his ski mask have to go. I can't stomach another 30 game performance and an exit from the playoffs due to the fact the guy plays defense like [Adrian Dantley] used to play it -- NO D! At least AD had an excuse, at 6-foot-4, he was too small for the likes of Magic, Silk, Larry and the other guys. Boozer has no excuse other than he's lazy."

-- Greginslc

?

"DAMN!! Thanks for screwing us over again Boozer!" -- Boink66

"Ugh... *vomits* Should have known he, once again, would NOT stick to his word. I can't wait for his 'opt in' interview... it'll be all about how committed he is to the Jazz , wants to 'lead' the Jazz ... YUCK! YUCK!"

-- mkbelle

?

He probably would have rather taken a tour in Afghanistan than be forced to give an obviously untruthful statement like "they are excited to have Carlos back.' Right!! Wink, wink! Yes, I love a hot poker in the eye every now and again."

-- H20SKI

?

"YAY!! Boozer's back. He will deliver!!"
