--Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was able to enjoy a homecoming of sorts in Indiana, where six of his grandchildren live within four blocks of each other. Sloan was asked by his daughter to greet one of his grandsons' youth basketball teams before Tuesday's game. There were a couple of kids wearing Pacers jerseys, to which Sloan said: "Make sure you yell for the Pacers. My grandkids are supposed to yell for us." --Ronnie Brewer was a college teammate of Dontell Jefferson's at Arkansas and the two reconnected when Jefferson came to Utah to play for the NBA Development League's Flash. He was able to enjoy the news Monday that Jefferson would be signing a 10-day contract with the Charlotte Bobcats. "He stuck with it, he kept on working hard, and he got the call-up that he wanted," Brewer said. Jefferson will be the 24th player the Bobcats have had on their roster this season.
