Utah Jazz Notes, Quotes 2009-01-31
--Kyrylo Fesenko and Kosta Koufos delighted the Jazz's season-ticket holders with a dance-off at Wednesday's annual barbecue. A video clip was posted on YouTube, as well as the Jazz's own Web site, and Koufos' victory was immortalized with a poster in the locker room captioned: "Where Greek Soul Happens."

--For the third year in a row, Deron Williams was an All-Star Game snub. Williams ranks second in the NBA in assists per game, but missed the first 13 games of the season after spraining his left ankle and played for several weeks at less than 100 percent even after returning. The Jazz's 26-21 record also didn't help matters. "This year, I'm all right with it," Williams said. "I need the rest anyways, so I'll take me a nice vacation." Williams averaged 18.4 points and 12.0 assists after the All-Star break in 2008 following his last snub.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "I tried to act like I didn't hear Coach (Jerry Sloan) when he said my name." -- Deron Williams, on having to go back in Friday's game against Oklahoma City in the fourth quarter with the Jazz ahead by 15 and playing the first game of a back-to-back set.
