Utah Jazz Notes, Quotes 2009-12-03

--Had they not missed four of their last five shots in garbage time, the Jazz could have shot better than 60 percent in three consecutive games for the first time in franchise history. No team, in fact, has done so since the Pacers during the 1993-94 season.

--The Jazz will wear throwback green jerseys from the 1979-80 season during Friday's game against Indiana. It was the Jazz's first season in Utah and they finished 24-58, with Tom Nissalke as coach and Adrian Dantley as their leading scorer.

--Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor said that he likely will have a conversation with Matt Harpring before Christmas before making a decision about Harpring's playing future. Harpring has not been with the Jazz all season, unable to overcome ankle and knee problems.

--With a victory Friday over Indiana, the Jazz would stretch their winning streak to four games and close a successful 5-1 homestand. Mehmet Okur scored a career-high 43 points last January against Indiana, which largely left him open for one jumper after another.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "Booz is playing out of his mind right now." -- Deron Williams on Carlos Boozer's recent run of huge games.
