--Before Thursday, the Jazz hadn't played on Thanksgiving since moving to Utah. The team typically requests to play the day after Thanksgiving (as well as the day after Christmas) in the hopes of a strong post-holiday draw. The NBA, however, approached the Jazz about playing on Thanksgiving night, and management agreed. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan gave his players Wednesday off to spend with their families, but otherwise things were business as usual. "Today's pretty much routine, just a lot more people in the house," Carlos Boozer said. --With Kyrylo Fesenko missing Thursday's game because of a stomach virus, the Jazz were left with just nine players in uniform for the sixth time in seven games.
