Utah Jazz Notes, Quotes 2009-11-19

Utah Jazz Notes, Quotes 2009-11-19--Deron Williams had 20 points, nine assists and six rebounds in his return to the Jazz. Williams left the team in the middle of last week's road trip to be with his family as one of his daughters underwent medical testing. Williams has declined to elaborate, but did say of the situation after Wednesday's game, "It's a lot better than we thought." Williams did travel with the Jazz to San Antonio for Thursday's game.

--Jazz coach Jerry Sloan wasn't shy about playing point guards Eric Maynor and Deron Williams together in Wednesday's victory. The two were paired for a stretch in the first half, then for the entire fourth quarter, in which Maynor scored 11 of his 15 points. Williams has had an aversion to playing off-guard in the past but said he liked having the ability to rest a little bit without having the ball in his hands all the time. Andrei Kirilenko, meanwhile, said the Jazz's fourth-quarter lineup of two point guards and three power forwards felt like "European basketball."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "I've got two words: Eric Maynor." -- Jazz forward Carlos Boozer after rookie Eric Maynor scored in double figures for the third consecutive game.
