--The Jazz are off to a 1-3 start for the first time since the 2002-03 season. Even when they lost 56 games in 2004-05, the Jazz actually opened the season 4-0. The Jazz could use victories against San Antonio and Sacramento to close this week at home, with a four-game Eastern Conference trip awaiting next week, including stops in Boston and Cleveland. --Carlos Boozer appeared headed for yet another disappointing game when he picked up his fourth foul less than four minutes into the third quarter and ended up back on the bench. Boozer was able to get on track in the fourth quarter, hitting two long jumpers as the Jazz fought to stay in front, and scored eight of his 12 points in the final period. QUOTE TO NOTE: "It's tough because we were up by 15 with eight minutes to go. Next thing you know, it was free throw, free throw, free throw, free throw, free throw." -- Carlos Boozer on the Mavericks' fourth-quarter barrage behind Dirk Nowitzki.
