In their search for a berth in the Western Conference playoffs, the Jazz have won 16 of their last 20 games, including Saturday night's 104-99 overtime victory over Phoenix.
The win moved Utah into sixth place in the West -- at least temporarily -- heading into Monday night's home game against the New York Knicks. The Jazz have 10 games remaining, but only four at home and only three against teams currently sitting below .500.
"We've got some tough, tough basketball games coming up," Deron Williams said. "We've got our work cut out for us. But it's also a good test for us, to see where we're at. If we make it through these games and move up, then we're ready for the playoffs."
JAZZ 104, SUNS 99 (OT): Deron Williams scored seven of his 21 points in overtime as Utah stretched its home winning streak to 14 straight games with a wild victory over Phoenix.
The Jazz led by 21 points early in the third quarter before the Suns rallied. Phoenix took an 88-81 lead with 2:10 left before Memo Okur buried a 3-pointer and Williams hit back-to-back jumpers in the final 25 seconds.
Okur finished with 26 points for the Jazz, who improved to 31-6 at EnergySolutions Arena.
