Turnover troubles for D-Will
Oakland, Calif. ? As he tried to fire a pass back outside to Mehmet Okur at the top of the key, Deron Williams could only watch as Corey Maggette breezed to the ball and headed the other way for a dunk in the first quarter Sunday.

It was one of six turnovers for Williams, who acknowledged he must take better care of the ball even as he had his fourth consecutive 30-point scoring game, finishing with 31 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds in the loss to Golden State.

"The last four games have been pretty disgusting to me," Williams said. "The thing I look at first is turnovers and I've got to do a better job. I'm trying to be aggressive, but at the same time, I get myself in some bad positions when I get in the air and have nowhere to go."

Williams has committed 16 turnovers in the Jazz's last three games. He ranks third in the NBA behind Steve Nash and Stephen Jackson , averaging 3.58 turnovers a game. The Warriors scored 34 points off the Jazz's 18 turnovers Sunday.

Miles returns

After missing two games with bronchitis, C.J. Miles returned Sunday and scored 10 points. Miles started and played 31 minutes, but admitted he still was getting back his legs in making only 3 of 8 shots.

"The catch and shoot, I didn't have the spring that I usually have," Miles said. "I started to feel my legs coming, but I didn't get in too many situations to keep doing it, though."

Even though Kyle Korver averaged 15.5 points starting in Miles' absence, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan believes no player should lose his job because of injury or illness. For his part, Miles said there was no added pressure now in returning.

"I'm just going to play hard and be aggressive when the chances are given to me," Miles said. "I'm not going to try to do anything more than what I've been doing. They won two games without me, so obviously they don't want me to come in and mess it up for them."

Miles' bronchitis was bad enough for a doctor to send him home with an inhaler. He thought he might be able to play Friday against Sacramento, but wound up staying at the team hotel sick.

Injury report

Even with Miles returning, the Jazz had only 11 players in uniform against the Warriors. Brevin Knight did not dress after suffering a bruised left quadriceps Friday and Kyrylo Fesenko was battling a stomach virus.
