Jazz Notes: Utah sends Fesenko, Almond to the Flash
The Jazz assigned center Kyrylo Fesenko and shooting guard Morris Almond to the Utah Flash of the NBA Developmental League, the team announced Saturday.

Fesenko averages 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds in 7.9 minutes this season. He has played in only 18 of the Jazz's first 62 games and is just recovering from the viral infection.

Almond, the Jazz's first-round draft pick in 2007, averages 3.7 points in 10.2 minutes this year. He has played in 25 games, including one start.

Fesenko and Almond are the first two players the Jazz have sent to the D-League this season.

Fesenko and Almond will be available Monday night, when the Flash open an eight-game home stand against Idaho at the McKay Events Center.

The Flash trail the Stampede by one-half game in the D-League's Western Division.

When the Jazz play Toronto on Sunday, the Raptors will attempt to extend their streak of 841 games with an least one three-pointer.

The streak began on 10 years ago. During the last decade, Toronto players have made 5,040 three-pointers, led by ex-Raptors Morris Peterson (801) and Vince Carter (551).

Current Toronto guard Anthony Parker has made 323 three-pointers during the streak. Teammate Andrea Bargnani has made 281.

Can the Jazz put an end to the streak?

Probably not.

Utah has allowed at least one three-pointer in every game this season. Opponents are shooting 35.2 percent from the three-point line.

---

Briefly:

The Jazz have beaten Toronto seven straight times, but they are only 3-7 on the road against Eastern Conference opponents. ... Utah is 30-3 when it holds the opponent to less than 100 points. ... The Raptors lead the league in free-throw shooting (.831). ... Kris Humphries, a former first-round draft pick of the Jazz who was traded to Toronto in 2006, is sidelined with a fractured fibula. He suffered the injury Jan. 18 against Phoenix. In 29 games this season, Humphries averages 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds.

Charlotte - What began as a promising week in Washington got downright nasty in Charlotte on Friday night after turning ugly in New York on Wednesday night.

The Hawks lost their second consecutive game to a sub-.500 opponent, dropping a 98-91 decision to the Bobcats at Time Warner Cable Arena.
