The Jazz will be without Mehmet Okur and C.J. Miles when they play the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night, fighting to stay out of the Western Conference's No. 8 playoff seed.
Okur couldn't go after suffering a mild right hamstring strain in Monday's victory over the L.A. Clippers. Miles continues to be bothered by swelling after dislocating the index finger on his left hand. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan will start Matt Harpring and Jarron Collins for Miles and Okur, respectively. It will be only the second start of the season for Harpring and third for Collins.
Sloan said he preferred Collins to start instead of Paul Millsap given the Lakers' length with Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom.
